How to Run a Marathon

Ben Gaetos has 27 years of City service and currently works as an Architect in the Planning, Maintenance, and Construction Division of the Department of Recreation and Parks Department.
Ben fell in love with running when he was growing up in the Philippines. He continued to run when he moved to the United States. Ben ran 10K races then transitioned to marathons. His first marathon was the 1992 Los Angeles Marathon. After competing and winning trophies in several races, Ben started training for ultramarathon races.
To date, Ben has run 80 ultramarathons, 67 marathons, and 200 other races. He continues to dream to run more races. Ben authored the book, I Dreamed, I Ran, I Conquered.
